Hi,

I've been told that the time to service the fuel pump on my Rotax Max is when fuel runs back down through the pump from the carb. Now I've just bought the service kit and replaced it, but the fuel still runs back down the pipe.

I made a mental note of what order the gaskets were but now I'm starting to doubt wether I have actually replaced them in the correct order.

I did a search on hear before posting this question but there are 2 posts giving conflicting answers as to what order they should go.

So can someone advise exactly the correct order for me. I have it layered as follows, is this correct?

Top of pump (with pulse pipe outlet)
brown gasket
clear plastic
black rubber
main pump body (with fuel inlets\outlets)
