okay this isnt going to stop the real cheats machining and fixing springs. but it will stop the cheats who arent as brave and just overgrease. we have to accept that people will cheat.

However and this is important. I found the advantages of overgreasing completely by accident. and i think so will others, and when you are trying to chase a tenth or two how hard is it to just resist the temptation to put a tiny bit more than normal especially if you are convinced it is what most of the field is doing because of the current confusion.

So the solution. OILITE, or any phosphor bronze type seld lubing bearings, I used to make these for bearings in forklift truck wheels, now I know they aint turning as quick however the loading is extreme especailly with solid tyres and the weight. it stops the inability to use the 11 tooth sproket that a fixed sealed bearing may present.
they would be dirt cheap to make and you could even throw them after say 2 or 3 meetings, I rekon a price of about £2 each easy doable.

please tell me why this wouldnt work..
