I would avoid them like the plague.
I've opened these cheap afteremarket starters and they don't have the epoxy resin support on the commutator wiring to the armature.
I've seen these wires come adrift and touch the outer casing of the starter and kill the battery by shorting when you try and start the engine.
Put them where the Sun doesn't shine.
Being a BKIA member doesn't mean they can't sell the things, it just means they just want your money.
They are not within the regulations for Max racing and you could be excluded.
Yeah, I know, DAFT , but that's life.
Non performance enhancing, not safety related but not allowed.
Spend the extra because they are very reliable now that they silicon the braids on the brushes.
Better still, repair your old one, it ain't rocket science.
