buy the paddle height tool, about Ł4 and well worth it, it makes it so easy.

My old WB24 used use 1.5 and 0.5, it always ran well. Search youtube for "setting carb fueling" it shows me playing with the mixture on my old BT95/WB24.

I also don't think the WB24 was designed for use on the BT82, it was a BT95 engine so the bigger bore will pull in a whole lot more air, the fueling may not be as Talko described to you as they may have assumed it was for the BT95.
