It is not just visitors that can have this impact on the points. At most clubs all members are automatically included in the championship.

Although we only do one club championship seriously we are members at a couple of other tracks where we go for test days and the odd meeting during the year - depending on what extra testing we need to do.

It can work out cheaper to be a member than pay as a visitor so some meberships are purely a financial decision. This does mean that when we race at these clubs out points would count whichever method the club uses. This could alaso upset some of the `regular' championship competitors.

I doubt if you will find a perfect system but there are a lot of clubs around so you should be able to race at one where you like their system.
