Not in the clutch instructions but in the Rotax Repair Manual it states: Always fit using new circlips.

I agree they should be included, I didn't have any so had to wait a few days for new ones to arrive before I could fit the gears, but the temptation was there to re-use the old ones. For a Ł200+ part what would it take to throw in 2 circlips that cost pennies?

Maybe a supplier would be kind enough to throw them in even if Rotax\Jag won't.
