I've got a different set-up on the rear axle now and needed a new chain to fit it. I noticed the 106 I had was slightly too small, so I ordered a 108.

This has come this morning and because the gods despise me, the 108 is too big...

They don't sell 107's, and even if they did, it would be too late as I'm racing tonight!

Is there any way to shorten / lengthen a chain [b]without special tools[/b] (as I can't wait to order these either!)

My alternative is to keep trying different sprockets with all the chains I have until a match appears, but that's not exactly ideal!

any suggestions?
