Robbie, racing is the next step (when organically it happens of course) so don't discount it, but as many have found, the more you do now the better you'll enjoy it later! There's no substitute for bum-in-seat and for that sometimes a little bit of planning goes a long way towards spending as much time on the track and as little in the pits.

Like I said before, Karters are all a happy to help bunch, we're all doing it as a hobby and helping another soul on the track is part of the enjoyment. So if you find an idiot doesn't help simply move on to the next awning/outfit, you'll soon find some help!
