hi there

just some questions and advice needed about radiator fluid for the rotax

do people here use coolant in their radiator. if so which one do you recommend. could you use any coolant designed for use with aluminuim or is it best to use racing coolant.

on this forum i noticed that one member filled their rad with just water and noticed a temperature drop of a couple degrees. is this advisable.

also at my last race meeting i noticed one competitor use a full bottle of silkolene pro cool straight into the rad undiluted with water. again is this advisable.

is a mixture of coolant to water is needed what do people use for warmer temperatures, colder temperatures.

by the way i am running between 55 and 65 degrees from what the mychron says. i know this i acceptable just looking for further information

many thanks

adrian
