Agree with TKM Dave but there's a couple of grey areas in that proposal 1:

Does this mean that next year production of the currently homologated karts will stop?

Therefore anyone wanting a new chassis for TKM will be at liberty to buy whatever they want from the long list of CIK chassis however they will have to not use the torsion bars and kit it out with a different set of bearings, hangers, hubs and disc and sprocket carriers as well as removing the castor kits?

This begs the question of how many manufacturers make 30mm axles and the associated kit any more and will the retailers that have nothing to do with TKM at present (lets say the likes of Maranello and Alonso dealers etc) be prepared to sell a "TKM Spec version" of their chassis or will TKM driver have to purchase a complete chassis and the other parts as well??

However this is still a step away from opening up TKM to those who race different classes in different championships/at different clubs as racing KF or Rotax one weekend and TKM the next will require slightly more stripping down of the chassis in between times and will effectively mean carrying double spares, a set of "TKM bits" and a set of "CIK bits"!
