Yes it will. The slots in the disc face keep the pads clean and the holes allow the vapours produced by the friction to escape to the vented area and get vented out. The vents act like a centrifugal pump to throw the hot gasses outwards. Do not keep your foot on the brake when you come into the pits with hot brakes as the localised heating can warp the disc permanently.
