ok ive asked this question before but not with a definitive answer so here goes.

looking at the dyno printout the engine picks up quickest between 7000rpm and 10000 rpm and then tails off, what id like to know is would i be best running the kart no more than 11000 rpm to stay within that range as this is the most powerful range of the engine or do i gear the kart so that we stay longer between this range? if the power tails of after 11000 rpm then surely id be best keeping at or under this rev range? or have i got it completely wrong??

i suppose im asking, what the dyno is showing in realation the the power of the engine and how to interpret it to use on the track.

thanks in advance
