ive always been told the brass ones are best too....it works which is the main thing, i always carry a really long cable tie with me which i turn into a hoop and put it in the tank to scoop up the tube...alot easier than string n stuff....oh and its not astupid questeion...i thought the same thing when i first had to change mine!

the only stupid question is the one you dont ask!...as someone once told me!
