Wellllll.... the stupid part is whoever told you that the intank filer is better than an inline one!

Why?

Because he never said what it was 'better' AT!

Yes, an intank filer IS better at being an intank filter but it's CR*P at being an inline filter!!!!

The intank filter is there (usually) to do TWO jobs:-

1) Filter the fuel
2) to 'chase' the fuel around the tank under braking and cornering.

The inline filter is there for ONE job.... filtering the fuel.

Both do the jobs they are supposed to do.... if you buy the right ones and fit them properly!
