From what i can see it is the most economic way of racing.
This Lego engine building is very expensive and time consuming
for all parties involved except JAG and Rotax.

Im sure the engine builders dont want to have a stock of 40-50 barrels to go through when a bit of work would make 30 of them very similar!

Never will any engine be equal. but it allows you to iron out possible flaws in manufacturing. it allows those that want to experiement within the rules to do so.
