Thanks for your reply Rawlinson, however i know how to overcome it.

Its the actual Reason it makes the sound it does.
The process the engine is going through. is it the weak spark? that cant ignite the lack of fuel.

Is it something to do with the way the exhaust is, it highlights the sound more.

I am after the indepth technical answer. As we all know it makes the noise. we all know it does it when the motors Lean, Cold, low battery etc.
