You're right Ian... and the tuning that DK did back in the day was fantastic. I bought a TKM L90TT from them back in 1985, at the time one of the cheapest 100cc National motors you could buy. I paid GBP50 for them to tune it... and it was a truely phenomenal engine.

An engine builder is not competing against his own team for your business... he's competing against other engine builders. The best advert for his business is to have a privateer customer beat everyone else [including the engine builder's works team]. Just think about it.
