ok, just listen to what john is saying about the 09 cylinder. He is bang on in my opinion.

There are to many people that are getting themselves beaten by the paddock gossip of how wonderfull the 09 cylinder is, just get out there on your 05,6,7 or 08 or whatever cylinder you have and drive as hard as you can.

You may well find its the people who have a batch of new cylinders to sell that are doing all the talking, on how good they are.

I have just done about two and a half hours on a new engine, 09 clutch and read block but it has an 08 cylinder. straight out the box and there is only a 10th between it and my 06 engine, at kimbolton last month.
Maybe there is a tenth or two in an 09 cylinder but then sometimes my driving will cost me five tenths. So go on ladies and gents just get out there and enjoy yourselves, thats why you all do it??

Out of interest does anybody know how many lap records the 09 cylinders have taken so far this year? And by what sort of margins were they bettered by?
