Ours seems fine after a month and can put in the fastest lap.

Keeping oil for too long is a different matter.

Especially castor products.

It can separate out and you can get some 'orrible lumpy sludgy bits in it if it's a year old.

Even synthetic will go a bit funny if it is a year old.

So, it's more economical to use fresh fuel if you're cleaning something, rather than think you're being smart and using the old fuel, because it will keep.

After all, oil is expensive.
