Pushy parents does account for a lot of problems at meetings I agree.

But I do not feel that standing starts will stop the problem, just maybe cause it to happen at turn 2, or at a slower speed in turn one.

GT, GP2 etc can do rolling starts without the same issues, why karts.

Maybe becuase the damage that is sustained does take you out of the meeting it is therefore acceptable?
