Chad - The Easykarts are neither Piston Port or 10hp down on a rotax! Laptimes are generally similar (Eg Llandow 44.77 FL from last weekend for Easykart and Senior Rotax Lap record as per LLandow website 44.68)
When you consider that the rotax chassis is more sophisticated (and expensive!) and the Tyres are softer ... it's pretty clear how strong the EK motor is.
