Ebay is fine, as long as you know what you're looking for.

You won't truely know what to look for until you go down to a local kart meeting (at least once, but probably would be good to go a few times before spending money) and talk to someone racing TKM to find out about the class. What you'll learn in 15 minutes with a TKMracer would be the equivalent of hours and hours spent on here.

Find your local track, post a message on this forum asking for anyone willing to show you the ropes at the next meeting - and I'm sure someone on here will offer to help you.
