I've driven in many wet races and never had my visibility so severely obscured that I would want the kart in front to have lights!! I know where that kart is, not only because I can see it, but also because I can hear it. I know where I am because I can see the edge of the track, and can judge my braking points accordingly. Having lights on the kart in front may well confuse the issue, and in any case, the main danger is not the MOVING kart in front of me which should be travelling at roughly the same speed as me. No, the danger is the STATIONARY kart which has spun and is on the racing line, facing me or broadside to me. What use is a light on the rear of that kart then???
