Why is it always the same grumbles when you do not read and understand the regulations. It is simple the first part of the rules are (c2.5 b1.5)and the only requirement is that the clutch engages at 3000 rpm.THEY DO and this has always been the class regulations for the clutch.Noware is there any reqirement for them to fully engage as to the KF regulations so if it is slipping on the track how do i police it i know how but would loose any appeals that where sent to the MSA.
You do not think we do enough to police the clutches but when drivers are excluded for oil on the clutches there is always a lobby condeming it (see an earlier posting) You say nothing is ever done but we do not need to spout of on hear all those that have been excluded
If you look at the bulitin from Rotax you will see what they say.So again our hands are tied.As for measurements i measure them all the time but only from know dimentions so can you give them to me, the answer would be no as you will not find themAs for the data loggers i will be getting some data this weekend to send back to Rotax but this would not mack anyone illegal if they failed the KF test. The only sadthing hear is that you have nothing better to do at 3:00 in the morning but if you would care to give me a call (i will be in the office until 12:00 the number is 01926-511304 i will quite happilly talk to you
