Just fitted a brand new 09 engine to a chassis and in the process I found an extra cable end (looks like an earth extra) with a crimped loop at the end.

Not shown in the Rotax fitting instructions, nor in the manual. Can anyone shed any light as to what it is for, where it goes? It is at the same end as the battery contacts, coming out of the joint where the coil/engine connectors branch-out.
