Gut feeling is no chance

The sanding stones would have to be traversed up and down the barrel as the device is very small (210mm total length) and can get into a 25mm bore.
It would then be impossible to get a parallel bore.
Maybe worth trying if you have a scrap cylinder to play with.
The sanding stones may be small enough to catch on the ports as well
