It depends on the condition of the un-sealed engine and how far from the sealed specification it is as this will determine how much it will cost to re-seal later.

If for instance the barrel has been modified then come the time for a re-seal you will need a new barrel, the same rule applies for all other parts so come the time for a re-build it could cost more than a new engine.

In my view its best to buy a sealed one but as ever the choice is yours!
