If what went on at Kimbolton was a guide, as well as dealing with clutches and the illegal use of 09 Rotax barrels before they have been released, the stewards are going to have to get their sniffers out a lot more often this year. In wet and dry running at Kim last week several front runners were clearly running 'softened' tyres – one driver was even leaving KF type rubber marks at the end of the straight in dry practice. And as for in the wet races...
