All you need is a digital vernier and a set of feeler gauges.

You will not need a micrometer yet and if you've got a digital vernier you don't need a dial gauge (dti).

If you can make it to Wigan I'll show you what you need (and I might have a spare adaptor for a vernier you can have if I can find it).
