Hi, i don't profess to be an expert but when we had similar problems with my lad's minimax we tried everything motor related but found out we were barking up the wrong tree as it was the chassis binding.
We took some grip off the back and it helped straight away.
It depends who you talk to, because i have been told that because of where the minimax makes it's power you don,t need to chase rev'e.
Your dyno sheet will probably show max power at around 9-9500 revs.
Like i say, i don't profess to be an expert and am happy to be proved wrong if someone know's better.
Hope this is of some help.
Regards
Glyn
