Hi Poppa,

As a very basic setting, the screw nearest the airbox controls the top speed running and the screw nearest the engine the bottom speed/idling.

Both work on the same principle, each having a tapered end registering in an oriffice through which the fuel flows. So as the screw is turned anti-clockwise, the the flow of fuel is increased.

So to increase the proportion of fuel to air, turn the screws anti-clockwise, to weaken clockwise.

The starting points previously stated in this thread give a very good guide, but final settings depend on the conditions on the day.
