Don't PANIC!
This sort of thing used to happen to kart racers WEEKLY in the old days!
That's why you have chosen the RIGHT class of karting: one with a cast iron liner which can be honed and bored! That CAN'T be done with 'certain' engines (cough..R*T*X..cough).
It may not be as bad as you thought, many of us will have HAMMERED (literally) our seized piston out of the barrel before now and STILL salvaged the motor!
Take it to a good engine 'shop'. They will remove the piston, measure the wear/damage on the bore and either
1) hone it if it's not damaged the liner (i.e., the piston has STUCK on the surface of the barrel)
2) Hone it if it's left minpr scracthes on the liner
3) Rebore it as much as they need to remove any DEEP gouges. So long is there is a piston large enough to fit AND be stioll legal, you'll be back to a PERFECT new engine.
Effectively, liners are like cats, they have multiple 'lives'. Yours has about (roughly) 4 lives (REBORES) and can 'survive' a number of close shaves, too. It's onlyu a 'dead' barrel and liner when you have used up ALL it's lives. You then just buy a new barrel and liner.
Ohhhh.... it seized becasue it got too hot (probably). That's usually caused by an airleak, too little fuel or too little oil IN the fuel. It's NOT a 'big deal but you need to rebuild the carb to be SURE it won't happen the NEXT time.
