If you can't 'feel' the 'delayed' braking then and can't HEAR a loud 'clonk' as the brakes are applied, then it's NOTHING to worry about.

The ARC has used the floating disk for YEARS and has been fine with it! It does offer SOME advantages but I always HATED the sound as the axle rotated at low speeds. However, that's just personal taste.

Unless the play is noticable while in use... forget it!

For peace of mind, look clsely at the disk and the 'pins' on which it floats. If they show signs of wear ('ovalling' or indentations in the pins) then replace them: if not....
