Shanny, i have read all the threads on this and I am still not sure ezactly what you are after, but let me put it this way, we race tkm and use a jkh v4 chassis, jkh use a lot of intrepid bits on it hence it being called a jkh intrepid, they are very good, intrepid themselves dont make a chassis for the tkm class at all, we race at tracks which come under msa control and to my knowledge about 30 to 40% of the grid we regularaly race with are on jkh intrepid v4 karts, all less thant 4years old, I have never known one to be refused to race due to homolgation problems, I understand your caution to a point, but my advice would be to get yourself a late, good jkh intrepid v4 kart and get racing
