so in theory just because i can get an engine to rev say 12500 rpm i couyld be totally out of it power band and actually losing power. thanks thats what i wanted to know!
now how do i go about controlling the low end rpm? or is that down to a) the driver and how he carries the speed thru the corners? b)the gearing as to how fast or slow it accelerates out of the corners? c) the bottom screw on the carb?
or some or all of the above?
someone mentioned how not to let the rpm drop below a certain range in order to have the kart pull quicker coming out of low rpm under acceleration, would a dyno reading show this value for on the printout of its torque range it give you a baseline value to work from.
thanks in advance
