Adam you could probs get 9 hours use out of the engine max before a rebuild, thing is though sometimes if you go too long then the bore goes too big for that piston size again and you dont get as much out of the barrel and bore as everytime you rebuild you use a bigger piston size, not that it matter too much but its something we are always careful with. Mains and seals we do after 3 to 4 hours and those you could probs do urself but if not Brian can sort that. My dad does mine, all you need is a nice oven, few tools and few new bits and bobs lol. Just keeps the engine nice a fresh. Have to admit I only push my engines to 6 hours now but we have gone to 8 or 9 before without any problems.
