Hi - What would happen if I sealed up the opening of the black plastic gearbox filler cap?
Running it to an expansion bottle seems pointless-there's only 50ml of oil in the thing to start with, and no reason for that to blow out that I can imagine.
Whats the principle of operation between the pulse tube and the breather - as they are freely connected without any valving etc ?
Would the pulse pump get no pressure pulse a bigger pulse, or no change? Could it blow any seal in the gear housing, or the pump diaphragm?
Thanks for any considered advice or experience.
