I beg to differ about requiring 2 engines.

Anyway, definately move up, that extra year of experience will definately help, quite a bit of new stuff with the jetting and everything.

Rather than buying an engine off the shelf and forking out Ł1600 or however much they are, I would go and buy a good strong proven engine for up to Ł1400 and spend the extra Ł200 to get a slightly better chassis. I would buy second hand again, I got a Tony Kart EVXX for Ł800, which is 2008s model, so shows what you can get for your money. Obviously if your budget isn't this high, you can go for an older chassis and a less competitive engine, but I think your better to buy a proven engine than an "off the shelf engine". Although with all this 09 barrel speculation, who knows?

Hope this helps in someway!
