he won both heats and the final, although in the 1st heat I was quicker, and in the final it is impossible to tell if I would have been quicker due to my stupid driving on the 2nd lap which bent the stub axle.

But he drove well, but then this would be expected of someone who has raced at the circuit for years and at the british champs.

The Kit also wasn't that old - old enough to have the old style pods and bar, but still a perfectly good kart, with a very good driver.
