Hello Colin,
yes it was at camberley my son is Jack.

I have had the engine running on the stand today and reaching 13800 rpm with a quick blip on the throttle i know its not under load,race conditions and a lot warmer.But would i be right in thinking its not a carb issue but a combination of conditions and gearing.
