Sorry, I have to disagree with Matt. 3 inches was not an exaggeration, ask my wife!!

As for the bodywork, CIK02 is NOT legal on a TKM kart, although the angled pod bars are.

Personally, I don't think that any of us should be able to choose which rules we adhere to and which ones we don't. For the record, I do still feel a bit queasy about the decision I made, because I am very sporting person, ask anybody who knows me. I didn't protest to gain a victory for my lad by default, I protested as a protest against a scrut, who did not want to do his job properly, although didn't seem to have any problem in DQs for Rotax guys who finished the race with less than 2mm tread depth on their wets!

For the record, the trophy has gone in the bin!!

And btw, a disc protector, so we are told, is a safety issue.
