If you look on the slider inside the carb you will see a brass pin in the middle

Take off the airbox and look into the carb with the throttle closed. Then open the throttle all the way. loosen/tighten so that you can just see the brass pin poking out from the top when the throttle is fully open. This may be a good starting point.
