Good point. I didn't do what you suggested. I got back into karting at university. My friend got a Rotax max and started racing at Warden Law. I went along and thought, I fancy some of that. I put some Rotax's on watch on eBay and eventually convinced my dad that we should get back into karting. We bought a Rotax. Unknown to me, 2003 was the year side pods changed and they had to be parrallel to the chassis. I bought an old style kart.

Basically I rushed into it and bought the first kart I saw and ended up with a terrible chassis, oh and the engine blew up coz it had not been rebuilt since 2003.

So yeah, if i'd followed your advice I'd at least have bought a decent chassis and engine - in the worst possible class :p

It's all good now though :) apart from needing this new clutch and barrel. lol.
