Well....back in 2004 when the extreme class was first announced, it was stated that for a short period (I think 3 months), it would be allowed to run non extreme engines with extreme. Reading the latest regs however, I don't see anything compelling the use of 115cc motors. I suppose if somebody is happy to race 3bhp down, then thats up to them!
