And how many analytical chemists do you know who still use manual glass buretts. In my own experience all the labs that I visit on a daily basis use calibrated digital buretts. Although what you are saying about technique is quite right, the digital type removes the human error factor in liquid measurment giving better repeatability and reproducabilty.
