I don't think you are!

We get our (Max) engine checked regularly for squish and other port measurements and head volume never comes into it with the scruts.

The appeal system might well exist but in practice it is hardly ever used because even though you might be certain you are compliant, there is always that nagging suspicion that you'll get stitched up and kiss goodbye to your hard earned, simply because you DARED to question something.
