I'm 24 and getting back into karting after doing it as a cadet many years ago.
I had a rotax max for a brief time while I was at uni but never got it out of the garage and had to sell it.
I'm in the market for a new Rotax kart and i've got a budget of Ł1650.
I'm 6ft and weigh about 85kg so aim to compete in the 177 class for the moment until I can shed some weight.
Can anyone recommend some makes and models of kart they think would be suitable.
Any pitfalls I should look out for buying a kart?
Any advice for starting - I've got a couple of local clubs to me near Newbury so i'll be looking to join one of them.
My mechanical skills are greatly lacking which is half the rason I want to take it up - to learn a new skill.
Any or all constructive advice will be appreciated.
