My understanding of the purpose of chassis homologation is that it is to ensure that there is no rapid obscelesence, that a kart bought at the begining will be just as competitive throughout the homologation period. This whole situation is ridiculous, and totally unfair on those drivers that do not have access to manufacturers "specials".
