Oh dear, has the frost already bitten you?

The jacket can be successfully welded but use a welder who is used to dealing with this sort of welding.

I suppose it could be viewed as adding or removing material and of course the seal is going to have to be removed.

I would presume it is ok to make repairs to the jacket but a call to JAG will clarify this.

The engine will probably have to be re checked on measurements unless the welder is a re sealer too.
