I would say its because Cadets have always had large grids and the fact the drivers are very young. Would a young man really want to go and collect a trophy for 6th place. Really all you have to do is turn up at every meeting and you will find you are in the top 10. (as long as you finish and dont brake down)
But ask Bob i'm sure he will no.
